The Bulk Variant Create plug-in lets you create variants of any number of selected objects in one operation. You specify the variant criteria for the new objects and the plug-in does the rest.
This plug-in is useful, for example, if you use variants for:
- Multiple-release documentation and you need to create a new release.
- Regional variations of information and you are adding a new region.
With the Bulk Variant Create plug-in you can:
- Select a number of objects (standard objects, primary objects, and variant objects) and create new variants of these objects based on a specified set of variant criteria.
- Optionally insert an existing topic at the beginning of any new variant topics.
- Set the release state of the created variant objects.
